What is a "teleclass?" The "tele" part means that the class will be conducted by phone. Teleclasses are held on a bridge line, which is a telephone conferencing system. All participants call the number provided (the bridge line), so that we all "meet" in a virtual room. It's really just a very clear conference call. The bridge number, dialing instructions and general bridge FAQ will be emailed to teleclass participants upon registration. Back to Top
Is it really free? Yes, the "free" teleclasses are free (and by "free" I mean available without tuition fees), but all participants will incur normal inter-state long distance charges to the area code (in Nevada) where my bridge (tele-conferencing system) is located. So, while there is technically no charge for my teleclasses, participation WILL cost the price of the phone call to the bridge line. I highly recommend using low-cost calling cards if your long-distance rates are high. Back to Top
What's different about a teleclass? What's expected of me? The main thing that's different in a teleclass is that people need to obey the rules of etiquette more strictly, because we don't have visual clues to rely on for feedback about our behavior. But basically, all that is expected of you is that you show up, ask questions if you want to do so, and that you not disrupt the class by indulging in any inappropriate behavior during the call.
